Why does candy make you thirsty
By Caleb Luke and Trenton
When you eat candy you get thirsty because the candy takes the space so the water cannot get where it needs to go.

Most candy is made with lots of sugar, a crystal that absorbs water, dehydrating you. Eating sweets will cause your blood sugar to raise causing thirst.

A normally pleasant sour or bitter food can taste unpleasantly sour or bitter if taken after a mouthful of very sweet food.
