You are unlikely to ever see it coming, since it measures only 0.2 inches across and is nearly transparent. It is a member of the notorious box jellyfish family, Its toxin is 100 stronger than that of a cobra.
3. The Portuguese Man o’ War may be beautiful, but it is also one of the deadliest jellyfish in the world. The sting leaves a welt like a whip mark, which can be very painful for several days. The venom can cause fever and shock, and may cause the heart or lungs to stop functioning. This can cause death.
