The sun is a star, the sun was formed 4.6 billion years ago. All the  planets started their lives in a giant cloud of cold molecular gas and dust. The sun will burn out in five billion years, good thing i will not be alive when that happens. If you were wondering what molecular means this is what it means, a molecular is the smallest particle of a substance that retains the chemical and physical properties of the substance and is composed of two or more atoms. It can also be termed as a group of like or different atoms held together by chemical forces. Molecules make up all living and non-living things.

  1. So what happens when the sun "burns out"? Have astronomers seen this before?
